Practicing Yoga since 2000, Sonia enjoys exploring the physical and energetic aspects of the body. This curiosity has led her to study with numerous teachers whose styles range from Ashtanga to Iyengar to Yin with instruction from Richard Freeman, Tim Feldmann, Doug Keller, Jason Crandell, Gabriel Halpern, Bernie Clark, Paulie Zink, Sarah Powers, and many others. Her light hearted approach to teaching stems from the notion that life is serious but yoga doesn’t have to be. She feels that our practice should not be rigid and dogmatic and that every body can practice some form of yoga. She loves to infuse her classes with different flows and poses while inspiring her students to find the practice that fits their individual needs. She achieved 500 hour certification in 2015 at Holy Cow Yoga.
